SYNOPSIS
Inspired by the frustrations of late-stage capitalism in America, Slice tells the story of Laine, a struggling college student, who finds herself entangled with a predatory snuff film producing “family” when she agrees to take up a dog sitting gig. What was supposed to be an opportunity to make some quick cash quickly spirals into a night of depravity and death.
About the director
Nan Mason is a Non-Binary Writer, Director, & Cinematographer hailing from Coastal Oregon. From the DIY-punk filmmaking tradition, Nan enjoys creating visceral works of film art—finding beauty and catharsis in grit and gore.
